Dubai, known for its spectacular auctions and exceptional charity events, has once again attracted attention with the sale of the number plate \u00abDD 5\u00bb<\/strong> for 35 million AED<\/strong> (approximately 9.5 million dollars<\/strong>). This event, named \u00abMost Noble Number\u00bb<\/strong>, took place at the Armani Hotel in Burj Khalifa<\/strong> and raised an impressive total of 83.6 million AED<\/strong> in support of humanitarian initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This sale is part of a long-standing tradition in the United Arab Emirates, where number plates with rare numbers are symbols of prestige and social status<\/strong>. As well as allowing buyers to show off their exclusive cars on the road, these auctions serve a noble cause<\/strong>, combining luxury with a commitment to philanthropy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A record-breaking auction to raise funds for healthcare<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The auction of \u00abDD 5\u00bb<\/strong> was the highlight of the evening, but other number plates also attracted spectacular bids. Other numbers sold included:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • \u00abDD 24\u00bb<\/strong> for 6.3 million AED<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • \u00abDD 77\u00bb<\/strong> for 12.6 million AEDs<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    As well as the exclusive number plates, special telephone numbers<\/strong> provided by operators from the<\/strong> and e& UAE<\/strong> were also auctioned off, helping to increase the total amount raised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    All the funds raised will be donated to the campaign \u00abFathers\u2019 Endowment\u00bb<\/strong>, an initiative launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum<\/strong>, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates<\/strong> as well as sovereign of Dubai<\/strong>. This campaign aims to fund health projects<\/strong>, in particular the construction and modernisation of hospitals, the provision of medical equipment and support for patients in need<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
