The plan includes reconstruction measures, infrastructure improvements and innovative projects designed to prevent future disasters, thereby reinforcing the city\u2019s position as&nbsp;<strong>Dubai as a proactive leader in environmental crisis management<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At a recent meeting of the Dubai Executive Council, several major projects were approved to support Dubai\u2019s D33 Economic Agenda. Among these projects, a state-of-the-art sanitation system costing 80 billion AED (approximately 18 billion EUR) was approved. This project, which will draw on the expertise of private-sector companies, aims to meet sanitation needs for the next 100 years and forms part of the Urban Plan 2040.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">The importance of planning and preparation<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum<\/strong>,&nbsp;<em>Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council<\/em>, emphasised the importance of planning and preparation in ensuring the region\u2019s sustainable and harmonious development. This forms an integral part of the strategy adopted by his father, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai. This approach has enabled Dubai to become a globally recognised city and to develop modern, high-performance infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A stable and dynamic environment<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dubai is now regarded as one of the best destinations for&nbsp;<em><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dubairealestate.net\/en\/living-in-dubai\/lifestyle\/\">live and work<\/a><\/strong><\/em>, providing a stable and dynamic environment in which everyone can fulfil their potential. Sheikh Hamdan emphasised that this new investment will further enhance the region\u2019s appeal and ensure the long-term sustainability of its infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A sustainable and efficient sewerage system<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project involves the construction of a wastewater treatment network, considered to be one of the most advanced and sustainable in the world. The total cost of the project is estimated at 80 billion AED (approximately 18 billion EUR), a sum that will be invested in partnership with private sector companies. This system is designed to meet the sanitation needs of Dubai\u2019s population for the next 100 years and fits perfectly with the Urban Plan 2040 and the D33 Economic Agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Dubai, a model of excellence<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>This new sewerage system will help to establish Dubai as one of the world\u2019s most modern and advanced cities.<\/strong>&nbsp;It will also support the Clean Energy Strategy 2050 and the Sustainable Development Goals by improving operational efficiency and extending the system\u2019s lifespan from 25 to 100 years. All of this is in line with the ambitions set out in the 2040 Urban Development Plan and the D33 Economic Agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Support for the entrepreneurial ecosystem<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The strategy aims to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem across all sectors and is expected to contribute 9 billion AED (approximately 2 billion EUR) to GDP. It will also create employment opportunities whilst encouraging Emirati entrepreneurs to set up responsible projects in line with the D33 Economic Agenda.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">A focus on sectors with a bright future<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dubai intends to focus its efforts on sectors linked to advanced technologies and sustainable development. These include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Financial services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Advanced manufacturing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Transport<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Energy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technology<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The cast<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>E-commerce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional services<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The agri-food sector<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Health and society<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Technology in education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All these sectors are seen as key to Dubai\u2019s future, with strong growth potential and a positive environmental impact.
