The return of Dubai's iconic attractions

With temperatures dropping, Dubai officially enters its winter season of outdoor activities and grand re-openings. Since October 1, two of the city's most emblematic attractions, Dubai Fountain and Dubai Miracle Garden, have reopened their doors to welcome residents and visitors alike. This double event marks the launch of a dynamic new tourist season, synonymous with entertainment, shows and a new-found urban life.

Dubai, known for its extreme summer weather, regains its energy every autumn. Residents rediscover the outdoor walks, markets, festivals and landmarks for which the city is famous. And once again this year, the return of the Burj Khalifa fountains and the world's most famous flower garden is generating a massive response.

Dubai Fountain: magic at the foot of the Burj Khalifa

Located between the Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa, the Dubai Fountain resumed its daily performances on October 1. The world-famous show now features two daytime performances at 1pm and 1:30pm, followed by shows every 30 minutes from 6pm to 11pm.

This ballet of water and light, accompanied by classical, Arabic and international music, attracts thousands of visitors every day to contemplate this free open-air spectacle. The jets of water reach heights of up to 150 meters, creating a spectacular visual effect against a backdrop of illuminated skyscrapers.

From the very first shows of the season, the crowds were out in force. Many tourists and residents gathered around the basin in the afternoon, taking advantage of the warmer weather to admire the show from the terraces of the Dubai Mall or the boats of the Burj Lake Ride. A symbol of the city's modernity and refinement, Dubai Fountain remains a must-see for anyone visiting Dubai.

Dubai Miracle Garden: an ocean of flowers in the heart of the desert

On the same day, the Dubai Miracle Garden reopened its doors, once again revealing its flower-filled walkways and impressive plant sculptures. The park, open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekdays and until 11 p.m. on weekends, is one of the most visited places of the season.

Created in 2013, the Miracle Garden is now the world's largest natural flower garden, with over 150 million plants carefully arranged to form monumental works of art: airplanes, hearts, castles and giant figures entirely covered in flowers. Every year, new compositions enrich the decor, attracting photographers, families and influencers from all over the world.

In addition to its beauty, the Miracle Garden symbolizes Dubai's ecological and aesthetic ambition: to make the desert bloom and demonstrate that innovation and nature can coexist harmoniously. The park's reopening coincides with the resumption of the tourist season, bringing a breath of fresh air and color to the city.

A winter season rich in reopenings

October 1 also marks the start of a series of eagerly awaited reopenings. Upcoming highlights include

  • Global Village, from October 29, for a 30th edition celebrating the world's cultural diversity.
  • Ripe Market, from October 11, a not-to-be-missed event for lovers of local produce and crafts.
  • Dubai Safari Park, which reopens on October 14 for a new season of animal and educational experiences.

These successive reopenings are part of Dubai's tourism strategy, which aims to maintain a constant flow of visitors throughout the year. The winter season, with its pleasant temperatures and outdoor events, is traditionally the busiest.

Dubai, the entertainment capital of the world

The return of these iconic attractions confirms Dubai's place as the world capital of entertainment and experiential tourism. The city's model is based on a unique balance between innovation, culture, leisure and accessibility.

In 2025, tourist numbers continue to reach record levels, supported by the quality of the infrastructure, safety and diversity of the activities on offer. From luxury shopping to sporting events, exhibitions, concerts and gastronomic festivals, Dubai offers a first-rate international program every year.

Conclusion: a magical winter season

With the return of the Dubai Fountain shows and the reopening of the Miracle Garden, Dubai officially launches its 2025-2026 winter season. These two symbols of the city perfectly embody its spirit: spectacular, welcoming and focused on excellence.

As other attractions prepare to reopen in the coming weeks, the city comes alive once again, ready to welcome millions of visitors to enjoy Dubai's unique climate, beauty and energy. One thing's for sure: the winter season is well and truly underway, and it promises to be more enchanting than ever.
