Investing in Dubai in 2021 with Mounir Redjdal

Mounir REDJDAL, CEO and Founder of Dubairealestate.net, answers many of your questions. In particular, he addresses the famous question « Why invest in Dubai in 2021 ? ».

It’s not just about being able to live in the sun all year round. There are other reasons for investing in property in Dubai – but what are they?
«2.5 billion euros. These are the figures recorded in May 2021 in Dubai. That brings the total to 11 billion since January.”.

Hello, I’m Mounir REDJDAL, director at Dubaïrealestate.net. Today, we’re going to talk about why you should invest in Dubai:

Zero tax, no tax; in fact, you won’t pay any tax on the resale, especially if you make a capital gain. Nor will you pay any income tax. So that’s why investing in Dubai is an attractive prospect. Because you won’t be paying any extra money to the government.
The only tax currently levied in Dubai is VAT, which stands at 5%.

You will benefit from a payment plan arranged directly through the developer. This will allow you to pay for your property over a period of between 1 and 7, or even 10, years, without the need for a loan agreement or a letter of intent.

»You’ll enjoy an excellent return on your investment in Dubai, as well as making a profit on resale. So, for further information, please click on the link below and we’ll get back to you as soon as possible. Thank you.”

Several reasons to invest in Dubai in 2021

Indeed, there are now several reasons why we should’investing in Dubai, when we summarise:

• When we look at the figures for property investment, we can see that 2021 is a standout year for investors. The COVID-19 crisis has fuelled property investment in Dubai. According to figures recorded by the Dubailand Department, since the start of the year, both the value and the number of transactions have been rising steadily.

• The fact that no additional taxes are payable to the state is one of the best-known reasons cited by many people. The absence of taxes – whether on income, capital gains or even property – is a real added benefit. Dubai plans to increase its population and is placing great emphasis on property investment.

• Several property developers offer payment plans to make it easier for buyers to invest in property in Dubai. Payment plans may vary depending on the developer, ranging from 1 year to 10 years.

• We must not overlook the return on investment. Today, property investments offer net returns of between 7 and 10%, compared with gross returns of between 4 and 6% in France.

• Numerous technological advances are constantly emerging. There are many expatriates – around 88% expatriates and 12% Emiratis. The average age in Dubai is 30–35, representing a young, working population. Jobs in the service sector are growing rapidly and attracting young professionals seeking to develop their skills and advance their careers.

• Dubai is among the top 10 safest cities in the world. Every year, Numbeo – the largest crowdsourced database covering all cities and countries worldwide – publishes its ranking, based on a total of 431 cities. In 2021, Dubai is ranked 7th in this list. It is worth noting that the safest city in France is Nice, which comes in at 194th place. It is worth noting that three cities in the United Arab Emirates feature in the top 10 safest cities (Abu Dhabi in 1st place, Sharjah in 6th and Dubai in 7th).
