This new route, which connects directly Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road in Al Warqa, now makes it possible to cover this distance in just 3.5 minutes, compared with 20 minutes earlier.

Before the opening, drivers had to travel 5.7 kilometres to connect the two points. Thanks to this new, optimised route, the distance is reduced to Just 1.5 kilometres, thereby helping to ease traffic congestion whilst streamlining the daily journeys of residents and workers.
