An initiative to encourage safe driving
To mark the start of the new school year, the 25 August 2025, the Dubai Police resumes the operation “Accident-Free Day”, a citizens’ initiative aimed at promoting the road safety. On that day, all motorists are invited to register online to commit to drive carefully for 24 hours. The result is a tangible benefit: the removal of four black spots on the driving licence for everyone who honours the commitment.
A simpler licence for responsible driving
Black points, the penalty system in force in the Emirates, can result in the driving licence suspension if the permitted limit is exceeded.
