A grand parade at City Walk to kick off the festivities
The celebrations will kick off on 1 December at 4 pm with a spectacular parade at City Walk, one of Dubai’s liveliest and most accessible neighbourhoods.
This procession will bring together:
- some traditional brass bands,
- local and international artists,
- folk dancers,
- mascots and children’s entertainment,
- vehicles decorated in the colours of the flag,
- and a number of performances representing the various cultures found in the Emirates.

Fireworks in the most iconic neighbourhoods

Global Village
There will be a daily fireworks display on 1, 2 and 3 December at 9.00 pm.
This show will complement the multicultural festivities at Global Village, which welcomes millions of visitors every season. The performances will feature bright colours, patriotic motifs and original light displays.
Dubai Festival City Mall
The 2 December, a special fireworks display will be held between 8.30 pm and 9 pm.
The area is particularly popular for its water and laser shows, which promise an evening combining light effects, music and fireworks in a unique waterside setting.
JBR and Bluewaters Island
That same evening, in 9.00 pm, a light show will light up the sky over Jumeirah Beach Residence and Bluewaters.
With the sea, the promenade and the beachfront restaurants, it’s one of the favourite spots for families and tourists to watch the fireworks.
All in all, these different zones will allow everyone to enjoy the show without having to travel too far, depending on where they are in the city.
