From 3 November to 2 December, Dubai is launching the Dubai National Month, a unique celebration that transforms the city into a huge open-air festival. For a whole month, more than 50 free events bring all the neighbourhoods to life, bringing together families, sports enthusiasts, culture lovers and visitors.

Sport, wellbeing and outdoor activities
Dubai National Month places a strong emphasis on sport and wellbeing. This year, more than 30 free sports centres will be set up throughout the city. These spaces will host free group classes at any time of day:
- sunrise yoga on Kite Beach,
- HIIT and cross-training in Dubai Marina,
- dance, Zumba and outdoor cardio in the parks,
- fitness workshops for teenagers,
- Family boot camps every weekend.
Certified instructors lead the sessions and provide all the necessary equipment. The aim is simple and accessible: to encourage residents to get active, lead a more active lifestyle and make the most of the ideal winter weather.
Several flagship events will be back this year. The running routes through Downtown, the stand-up paddleboarding days at JBR and the cycling challenges in residential neighbourhoods are set to attract large numbers of participants. Shows, fireworks and family evenings
November will be lit up with some exceptional shows. Among the highlights are the Burj Khalifa fireworks display, scheduled for the final weekend of Dubai National Month, will attract tens of thousands of spectators.
Live concerts featuring local and international artists will also be held at several iconic venues:

In the traditional markets, visitors will be able to explore stalls selling crafts, local specialities, woven goods and oriental perfumes. Workshops will be on offer to introduce participants to traditional arts such as khanjar-making, Arabic calligraphy and the preparation of Emirati coffee.
Museums and galleries organise special exhibitions dedicated to the history of the Emirates, with a particular focus on architecture, Bedouin traditions, the sea and pearls, as well as the key figures who have shaped the country.

A build-up to the National Day on 2 December
The month of celebrations naturally draws to a close with the UAE National Day, on 2 December. Dubai will add a touch of grandeur with:

- a light show on the Burj Khalifa,
- patriotic villages,
- traditional brass bands,
- and decorations in the colours of the flag throughout the city.
